The GLS app connects your store to your MyGLS account. Shoppers choose GLS home delivery or a GLS parcel point (ParcelShop or ParcelLocker) at checkout. The label is created when you fulfill the order, with the cash on delivery amount put on it for you. The parcel status is followed automatically. The app works with a GLS contract in Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia or Serbia. The app needs "Courier apps" on your plan. Plus and Pro include it. See Plan and billing.
Before you start
- You need a GLS contract. With it you get your MyGLS login (an email address and a password) and your GLS client number.
- To try things safely, ask GLS for access to the MyGLS test system. Test and live credentials are separate.
- You need the address the courier collects from.
Set up GLS
Open Apps → App Store, open GLS and select Install. Installing works the same for every app, see App Store.
In the Settings section, fill in the fields described under Settings.
Select Save in the save bar.
Select Check the credentials. The message The credentials work. confirms that MyGLS accepted your login.
Select Turn on. The status of the app changes to Active.
Open Settings → Delivery and go to the shipping settings of the location you ship from. Select Connect a courier and connect GLS to the location.
In the shipping zone that covers the countries you send GLS parcels to, select Add rate.
Type the Rate name the shopper sees at checkout, choose GLS under Courier, enter your price and save. Checkout now offers the rate.
A rate added this way is a GLS home delivery rate. To offer parcel points as well, turn on developer mode, add a shipping option for the same zone and choose the entry ending in "GLS parcel point (ParcelShop / ParcelLocker)" under Provider and delivery. See Locations and shipping.
The prices are the ones you set. The app does not ask GLS for live rates.

What shoppers see at checkout
For home delivery the shopper just picks the rate. For a parcel point rate they select Select a parcel point, search GLS's map and pick a ParcelShop or ParcelLocker. They cannot continue to payment without choosing one.
Day to day
- Open the order and select Fulfill items. Creating the fulfillment books the parcel at GLS and stores the label. See Fulfill and ship.
- If the order was placed with pay on delivery, the order total is put on the label as the cash on delivery amount.
- The order page has a GLS parcels panel. It shows each parcel with Label to download the label, Track to open GLS tracking, the parcel point and, for a locker, the locker PIN. See Parcels.
- The parcel status is checked every 30 minutes. A delivered parcel marks the fulfillment as delivered. Returned and Locker problem flag parcels that need your attention.
- Canceling the fulfillment deletes the label at GLS, see Cancel a fulfillment.
- Return labels are not created by the app. Create a return in the MyGLS portal.
If something goes wrong
- The credential check says MyGLS rejected the credentials. Check the username, the password and the client number, and that Environment and MyGLS country match the account.
- "GLS sender address is incomplete". The message names the missing sender fields. Fill them in and save.
- "GLS parcel point delivery needs the customer name, phone number and email on the order." Add the missing detail to the order, then fulfill again.
- "The order has no complete shipping address". Complete the shipping address on the order.
- The shopper is told the selected parcel point no longer exists. GLS has closed it. They pick another one.
- GLS refuses to delete a label. The parcel is already on its way. Sort it out with GLS.
- GLS is not offered at checkout. Check that the app is Active, that GLS is connected to the location and that a rate exists in the zone of the shopper's country.
