# Order archive

See the orders you moved over from your old shop, on their own page, on each customer and in your customers' accounts, kept apart from your live orders and reports.

- Where: Orders → Order archive

When you bring your shop to Poltura from another platform, your past orders come with you. They are kept as a **read-only archive**: a record of what was sold, not live orders.

## What the archive is

- Each archived order keeps its number, date, items, amounts, addresses, payment and delivery method, and the discount codes used.
- Amounts stay in the currency the order was placed in. They are never converted.
- Archived orders do not take a number from your order numbering, do not send emails or notifications, do not move stock and are not counted in your reports.
- Payment details are never imported.

## Find an archived order

Open **Orders**, then **Order archive**. Search by order number or email. Select a row to open the order.

On a customer's page, **Orders from the old shop** lists the archived orders that belong to that customer.

## What your customers see

A customer who signs in to their account finds their archived orders under **Order archive** next to their other orders. They can open each one to see the items and amounts. Guest orders are not shown in accounts, because there is no account to attach them to.

## Updating the archive

If you import again from the same shop, an archived order that changed in the old shop is updated, and nothing is added twice. You cannot edit or delete an archived order here.
