# SumUp

Accept card payments through the provider’s hosted checkout.

## Before you start

A SumUp merchant account enabled for online hosted checkout, an access token and merchant code.

## Set up

Open the App Store, install **SumUp**, and open its settings. Save the merchant settings and validate them. Validation checks that the settings are complete; only a test payment proves the account works. Complete successful, declined and canceled test payments, then confirm the order outcome in Poltura and the provider account before using live credentials.

## Settings

Use the account identifiers and credentials issued for this connection. Save secret values only in the app’s credential fields. Keep test and production account details together.

You do not have to enter a notification address in the provider panel. It is sent with every payment. The address is listed under **System endpoints** on the app page for reference only.

## Scope and limits

Online payments require account approval. A working card reader account alone does not establish online checkout access.

## Troubleshooting

Check that the app is enabled, required settings are saved and the external account has the necessary access. If an operation has an uncertain outcome, check the external account before repeating it.
