# Saferpay

Accept card payments through the provider’s hosted checkout.

Accept card payments through the provider’s hosted checkout.

## Before you start

An enabled Saferpay Payment Page account, customer and terminal identifiers and JSON API credentials.

## Set up

Open the App Store, install **Saferpay**, and open its settings. Save the merchant settings and validate them. Validation checks that the settings are complete; only a test payment proves the account works. Complete successful, declined and canceled test payments, then confirm the order outcome in Poltura and the provider account before using live credentials.

## Settings

Use the account identifiers and credentials issued for this connection. Save secret values only in the app’s credential fields. Keep test and production account details together.

You do not have to enter a notification address in the provider panel. It is sent with every payment. The address is listed under **System endpoints** on the app page for reference only.

## Scope and limits

Use the correct sandbox or production account and confirm the terminal’s allowed currencies and payment methods.

## Troubleshooting

Check that the app is enabled, required settings are saved and the external account has the necessary access. If an operation has an uncertain outcome, check the external account before repeating it.
