Shoppers pick a Foxpost parcel locker on a map at checkout, or ask for Foxpost home delivery to a Hungarian address. The parcel is booked when you fulfill the order, and the label is stored on the order. Cash on delivery is handled for you, and the parcel status is followed automatically. Foxpost delivers inside Hungary only. The app needs "Courier apps" on your plan. Plus and Pro include it. See [Plan and billing](https://docs.poltura.com/en/settings/plan/). ## Before you start - You need to be a registered Foxpost business partner. Foxpost gives you a WebAPI username and password. - You need an API key. Generate it on `foxpost.hu` under Beállítások. - To try things safely, ask Foxpost for sandbox access. Test and live credentials are separate. ## Set up Foxpost 1. Open **Apps → App Store**, open **Foxpost** and select **Install**. Installing works the same for every app, see [App Store](https://docs.poltura.com/en/apps/#install). 2. In the **Settings** section, fill in the fields described under [Settings](https://docs.poltura.com/en/apps/foxpost/#settings). 3. Select **Save** in the save bar. 4. Select **Check the credentials**. The message **The credentials work.** confirms that Foxpost accepted the username, the password and the API key. 5. Select **Turn on**. The status of the app changes to **Active**. 6. Open **Settings → Delivery** and go to the shipping settings of the location you ship from. Select **Connect a courier** and connect Foxpost to the location. 7. In the shipping zone that covers Hungary, select **Add rate**. 8. Type the **Rate name** the shopper sees at checkout, choose Foxpost under **Courier**, enter your price and save. Checkout now offers the rate. A rate added this way is a parcel locker rate. To offer Foxpost home delivery as well, turn on [developer mode](https://docs.poltura.com/en/developer/), add a shipping option for the same zone and choose the entry ending in "Foxpost home delivery" under **Provider and delivery**. The app does not ask Foxpost for live rates. ## Settings - **Environment**: `test` or `production`. The Foxpost sandbox needs its own registration. New installs start on `test`. - **WebAPI username** (required): the partner username Foxpost issued for the WebAPI. - **WebAPI password** (required): the password that goes with the username. It is stored encrypted. - **API key** (required): the key generated on `foxpost.hu` under Beállítások. It is stored encrypted. - **Default parcel size**: `XS`, `S`, `M`, `L` or `XL`. Foxpost bills by parcel size, and this size is used for every parcel. A size per parcel cannot be set yet. ## What shoppers see at checkout - For a locker rate the shopper selects **Select a parcel locker**, searches the map and picks a locker. They cannot continue to payment without choosing one. - For home delivery the address has to be in Hungary with a four-digit postal code. - In both cases the shopper has to give a Hungarian mobile number (+36 20, 30, 31, 50, 51 or 70). Foxpost sends the pickup code and the delivery notice to it. ## Day to day - Open the order and select **Fulfill items**. Creating the fulfillment books the parcel at Foxpost and stores the label. See [Fulfill and ship](https://docs.poltura.com/en/orders/fulfilment/#create). - If the order was placed with pay on delivery, the order total is sent to Foxpost as the cash on delivery amount. Foxpost collects cash on delivery in HUF only, up to 1,000,000 HUF, and only at lockers that can take payment. - The order page has a **Foxpost parcels** panel. It shows each parcel with **Label** to download the label, **Track** to open Foxpost tracking, and the locker. See [Parcels](https://docs.poltura.com/en/orders/fulfilment/#parcels). - The parcel status is checked every 30 minutes. A delivered parcel marks the fulfillment as delivered. **Returned** and **Needs attention** flag parcels you should look at. - Canceling the fulfillment deletes the parcel at Foxpost. This only works before the parcel is handed over. See [Cancel a fulfillment](https://docs.poltura.com/en/orders/fulfilment/#cancel). - Return labels are not created by the app. Create a return in the Foxpost portal. ## If something goes wrong - **The credential check says Foxpost rejected the credentials.** The username or the password is wrong, or they belong to the other system than the one in **Environment**. - **The check says Foxpost rejected the API key.** Generate a new key on `foxpost.hu` for this account and enter it. - **"Foxpost needs a Hungarian mobile phone number".** The phone number on the order is missing or is not a Hungarian mobile. Correct it on the order, then fulfill again. - **"The selected Foxpost locker cannot take payment".** The shopper chose pay on delivery with a locker that has no payment terminal.
